Responsibilities

To spearhead and oversee, provide directions, guidance and manage the Trade Finance & Corporate Banking Section primarily in development, implementation and support of Projects and Systems.
Continuously develop revised technology approaches to improve efficiency, reduce manual efforts, manage risks and comply with regulatory requirements.
Anticipate business expectations by keeping abreast with latest technology in trade financing and recommend technology/tools to fit future growth.
Application Systems Development and Deployment of new systems solutions to meet Business Strategic expectations
Support & Maintenance of existing systems and operations to meet Business expectations, efficiency, compliance and owned initiatives.
Involves in systems evaluation, negotiation, contract vetting & negotiation and management approval processes for new Projects.
Coach, motivate and impart knowledge to staff to improve their performance, groom them to be self-sufficient and promote collaboration, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Resolve any conflicts with staff/business / projects/systems production issues timely and effectively.
Continuous service improvements to meet SLA and Business Objectives/Expectations.
Vendor Management monitor vendor deliverables / SLA / performance.
Supervision and staff administration and performance appraisal.
Resource planning and staff knowledge/skill upgrades.
Adhere internal and external guidelines, policies and compliances (e.g. SDLC (traditional or agile), IT Security, Data, Compliance & Risks etc).
Report to Technical Lead and Project Managers
System Analysis, Software Development & Testing
Develop and integrate new user-facing features, build reusable code and libraries for future use, and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability and ensure that all user input is validated before submitting to backend for integration testing
Implement security and data protection
Provide 1st tier support for frontend and backend systems
Work closely with management, project managers, and developers to prepare and maintain detailed technical documents for the applications developed
Work in a multicultural environment
Work in a technical environment where best practices and automation matters

Qualification

Bachelors Degree in Computer Studies
Minimum of 8 years experiences in Leadership
Minimum of 10 years experiences in Project Management; Technology Services & Operational Management
Trade Finance experience is a plus
