Being an Engineer in the industry, there is always a FOMO which makes you feel worthless.

"What am I doing.. building history's 10000th payment integration for this toy app! People out there are nailing it."

This is not true!

Technology has always been a term used more by sales & non-tech consultants than real engineers. It is a dream competency of every business, even if they don't need it.

But, it is not. It is an evolution. Nobody dreams of evolution, it just happens when it needs to.

Technology isn’t as far along as the media makes you think it is.

We’re 10+ years away from autonomous vehicles.

Alexa still can’t play the song I want 25% of the time let alone make decisions and “learn”.

Robots fall on their faces when they aren’t on perfectly flat ground.

Always remember, you fixing another JavaScript undefined error is a part of evolution. Things changes slowly in tech, and it's all worth in the end.

You are making hell of a dent in the universe, slowly.. every day! ❤️
