Neighborhood Explorer

Neighborhood Explorer is a Knockout.js project using Google Maps, Yelp, and Walkscore.

In order to use the neighborhood explorer the user first enters an address they want to explore around. Next the user indicates which types of businesses they are interested in and the app will populate these business on the map with information from yelp. Finally, the user can set a boundary based on a walking, driving, cycling, or transit travel time to limit the geographic area they want to explore.

The benefit of this type of explorer is that it allows you to see what businesses are close to an address of interest based on travel time instead of distance.
