Red Hat Enterprise Linux us a Enterprise targeted Operating system. It is based on a mature Open Source technology and available at a cost with one year RedHat Network subscription for upgrade and support contract.
RHEL is not a free distribution of the Linux we need to pay subscription amount to use it.
But there is a free trial version available on their website which we can usefor 60 days and we will going to install that.
Downloading and installing Prerequisite
Fist we have to download/install some prerequisite in our system in run the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Operating System.

Steps to download
1.
First Login or signup by clicking on the login button on Right top and then enter User and password. Or if you are new to RedHat just create a new account

After login Click on the try it link on the downloads page shown just side to Red Hat Enterprise Linux

3. On next page click on start trial
4.
Provide your information in the form if asked in the next page and click on submit.
5.
Accept the Terms and condition asked on next page after reading it and click on submit button.
6.
Your ISO Image will start downloading
Now you got the ISO image which helps you to install the RedHat Linux but you will also need a platform where you can run that Linux right?
For this we will going to install virtual box.
Steps to download and install Virtual Box
1. To download virtual box visit :-

Click on windows hosts link displayed on the page if your system’s OS is windows, otherwise select the link according to Operating system.
3.
Your download will start automatically.
4.
After completion of download, go to your download folder or folder where you virtual box software is saved and double click it to install it.
5.
Setup wizard is open follow the steps and install virtual box.
6.
Wait for installation to complete.Start the virtual box
7.
Start the virtual box.
Now prerequisites are installed now we have to setup the RHEL OS on VirtualBox

Steps to setup RHEL OS on VirtualBox
1. Open VirtualBox
2.
Click on New option displayed on top of VirtualBox.
3.
Provide name of your Linux machine, Destination folder where you want Linux to be installed and provide the ISO image which you have downloaded previously, and click on next.
4.
Setup username and password hostname and domain name of your choice and click on next.
5.
Provide RAM and processor (Hardware Configuration) to your virtual machine and click on next
6.
Create virtual hard disk for your Linux OS (provide space according to the capacity of you PC storage) and click on next.
7.
Check the summary of your installation and click on finish.
8.
Your VM will power up automatically for setup
9.
Now install your OS in the virtual machine.
10. Setup root password using the option displayed under user setting and
click on done button twice to confirm that.
11. Click on begin installation.
12. Wait for installation to complete.
13. After installation is complete click on Reboot system.
14. Wait for reboot process to complete.
Now your OS is ready now just do some post installation step.
In post installation step you will be asked for adding user and creating password and connect it with an google account or something (optional) You can easily do that and your Operating system is ready to use.
