Hi I am Ayush Gupta 14-years-old a school student learning Full-stack Development and at present a Front-end Developer
In this show, I have covered my three years of journey as a developer...
Let's go!! 🚀

My Development Journey

Back when I was in class 6th there was a chapter in our computer book called HTML - Hyper Text Markup Language and they introduced us to it, they didn't even tell us the use of HTML just told us the basics which were also not properly told. 2-3 pages were all the chapter took in which half of the chapter was about how to open notepad and create a .html file. But that spark made me go deeper into HTML and I got to know about Web Development and I started watching tutorials on HTML. The very first channel I visited and looked over was Mentors Adda but I didn't do any great stuff back there. Later on, in class 7th all we talked about was MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Powerpoint which were quite boring are not understood by me till date, especially MS Excel.

But after that, I got really interested in Web Development so I checked out more channels where I can find complete tutorials to become a web developer and I got to know about CodeWithHarry. After watching his tutorials I created my very first project in class 7th, a food ordering website with no functionalities as I had no knowledge of JavaScript and at that time I didn't even know about version controls so I guess I can not show you that precious website of mine. After that, I took a long pause maybe because I was not too concerned.
The main story starts when I was in class 8th where I got to learn about many things which include open-source, version control, front-end, and back-end. So I started learning and exploring, first I watched many videos and understood what really is front-end, back-end, or full-stack, and after watching I made up my mind of being a full-stack developer. Also, I was good at programming so my computer teacher Ma'am Shiphali encouraged me a lot, and especially the angry and disappointed looks of toppers when Ma'am praised me for my hard work were quite entertaining, I never told her about my web development journey maybe because I was too shy. Web Development was my main focus but I was also learning Java as it was a part of our computer syllabus and all we studied in Java was how to write a program printing "Hello World". Then I got to know about Git and Github and also about open-source from popular content creator Kunal Kushwaha. Java seems to be a bit easy for me to understand as it wasn't the first programming language I was learning I had already learned JS so understanding Java wasn't that tough. Eventually, I got to know about hackathons and also about freelancing, I made my first account on Upwork where I guess I never found any clients because of my weak portfolio and I participated in my very first hackathon organized by MLH, The Local Hack Week: Share 2022 where I did many fun activities like creating a discord bot. And finally, after being told by my elder brother @kunal-gupta I joined Showwcase, it is a great platform where I got to know many new things and it is a world full of developers practicing different tech stacks. Also, I participated in the #21daysofupdates challenge of Showwcase where I won developer t-shirts. Though the t-shirts never fit me, I was happy to have them as they were a great achievement for me.
Thank You Showwcase!! 😍
I started to learn and grow with all the resources in my hand, and have shared them at the end. And currently, stand as a Front-end Developer having knowledge of various tech stacks like -

Conclusion

From my story one thing can be concluded that age is just a number if you have that level of dedication then you will surely achieve your goals with that said it also doesn't matter if you are too old you just have to start with full dedication and interest and you will surely be successful.
