We are looking for a talented PHP Engineer with 4+ years of experience. You will lead a small team of 3-5 junior developers to build, maintain and support PHP-based web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee PHP-based development projects end-to-end
• Review and merge junior developers’ source code, providing feedback to improve coding abilities
• Implement best practices for version control with Git/GitHub to manage code deployments
• Perform code refactoring, optimization and debugging to improve performance
• Design and build new features and applications using modern PHP frameworks
• Write clear documentation for API endpoints, code logic and architecture
• Set and implement standards for security, data protection and quality assurance
• Monitor and profile applications to identify and fix bottlenecks or issues
• Stay up-to-date with the latest PHP languages, frameworks, and development practices

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional software development experience with PHP
• Strong grasp of PHP, MySQL, MVC frameworks like Laravel/Symfony
• Hands-on experience leading small development team
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams
• Problem-solving attitude with good troubleshooting abilities
• Knowledge of front-end languages like HTML/CSS, JavaScript is a plus
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
